Yeti Destroys Track On Expedition Everest!
There is significant damage to the track at Disney's Animal Kingdom on the roller coaster known as Expedition Everest. We have photographic evidence that a Yeti is to blame!
Yeti Warnings All Around Forbidden Mountain
It really shouldn't surprise anyone that the damage has occurred, there are sufficient warning signs everywhere around Forbidden Mountain that the Yeti has been spotted.Tempting fate sometime results in serious consequences. The Yeti just isn't a creature to be trifled with. Thrill seekers, just chose to repeatedly ignore these warnings in order experience Forbidden Mountain.
The initial damage was spotted at the very top of the mountain. Fortunately the passengers that took this picture were able to stop in time before proceeding. They were even able to get their train to operate in reverse to begin the treacherous trek back down the mountain.
Evidence Of The Yeti Destroying Track
Believe it or not we do have photographic evidence of the Yeti destroying sections of the track. Check out the sequence of photos below:You can definitely see the progression of emotions for the Yeti who appears to feel challenged by the presence of the humans and wishes to make sure that they understand who is in charge. That last telling picture is the proof that we had been seeking with the Yeti caught in the act of ripping up a section of track.
Expedition Everest Continues To Operate!
Repairs are underway, and attempts are being made to operate the ride anyway. We were not able to get anyone from Disney World management to comment about whether they believed it was safe to continue to send so many travelers into Forbidden Mountain along the known paths that the Yeti lives. Will You Challenge The Yeti?
The choice is now up to you. Do you ride the exciting Expedition Everest attraction, or do you respect the Yeti's wishes and leave him in peace? Only you can decide.Star Wars Weekends 2014 Announces Addition Of 5th Weekend!

Gary Buchanan, social media managing editor for Disney Parks posted the following information on www.Starwars.com :
As the Rebel Alliance continues its fight for freedom and democracy in the Star Wars galaxy, the phantom puppetmaster himself, Darth Sidious (a.k.a. Emperor Palpatine), has issued a new galactic decree about Star Wars Weekends 2014 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
While some of his blue-hued holographic transmission was garbled, the Emperor has ordered his Galactic Empire to create a demonstration of force and power that can be seen high above Disney’s Hollywood Studios during Star Wars Weekends 2014. This has caused much talk in the galaxy that a gala fireworks show featuring Star Wars music will be presented each evening this year.
When consulted, several protocol droids further translated the Emperor’s message. These translations reinforced the conclusions that there will be a new evening experience for Star Wars Weekends guests on Hollywood Blvd. in the Walt Disney World Resort theme park.
However, that’s not the end of this story.
When the Rebel Alliance secretly learned of the Emperor’s plans from a hidden message decoded from an astromech droid, they decided to extend the galactic gala one more weekend in 2014.
In order to convince more guests to join the Rebellion, a fifth weekend is now being added to Star Wars Weekends 2014. The new event dates are every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May 16-June 15, 2014. The theme for this year’s event is, appropriately, “Join the Rebellion.”

Today, Only WDWorld selects the Top 5 Disney Character Couples that are depicted in Topiary form during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
Top 5 Disney Character Couple Topiaries

4. Cinderella & Prince Charming - Everyone's favorite Disney Princess, Cinderella looks graceful as she dances with her Prince.
3. Lady & the Tramp - How can you not think about that classic scene from the movie Lady & The Tramp when you look at these incredible topiaries?
2. Belle & the Beast - Belle and the Beast look great with Paris as a backdrop.
1. Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse - How can you argue with Mickey Mouse and Minnie as our top choice? Over the years they are seen in different scenes, but always look great!
Disney World Must See Special Event
Each year the Disney World Horticultural staff outdoes themselves and puts together an amazing collection of gardens, flower beds, container gardens, and topiaries. The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is certainly a must see event. The best part is that it is included with your paid park admission to Epcot!Enchanted Tales With Belle At The Magic Kingdom
The best of the new attractions in the Fantasyland Expansion of the Magic Kingdom in Disney World is called Enchanted Tales With Belle. I was quickly won over by this charming interactive attraction that I was expecting to not like, thinking it was solely for Princess loving young girls.
Enchanted Tales With Belle
The Disney Imagineers are first and foremost storytellers and Enchanted Tales With Belle is a detail laden, interactive adventure that let's the audience become part of the story. Although it is geared towards the younger guests, fans of all ages will enjoy it.It all starts with Maurice's Cottage where the attraction is held and the surrounding landscaping. It is amazing. The Magic Kingdom receives a level of detail that is not seen elsewhere through the theme park. Everywhere you look are little details that tell part of the story of Belle.
Once inside the cottage, you find a number of artifacts that point to when Belle was a young girl growing up. Of particular interest is the large portrait of young Belle reading a book with her mother.
This room forms the transition from Attraction Queue to the start of the adventure.
We spotted this great detail of a craving of Belle and the Beast on a shelf.
The attraction begins as you enter a room that is part of Maurice's Woodshop with the rest of the group. Approximately 30 people go in at a time. After everyone is inside, what appears to be an ordinary mirror, helps start the attraction.
The mirror opens into a door and now you enter Beast's Castle to find a giant wardrobe. You soon discover that this wardrobe is enchanted and it starts to talk and address the group.
The cast member opens the wardrobe and passes out props to allow guests to become part of a special production.
After the rehearsal is complete it is time to proceed to the library for a special performance. Inside you discover Lumiere who helps prepare you for a surprise.
The cast members help direct everyone to their positions. There are benches for the audience to sit on and the performers go to their places. The great thing about this attraction is that everyone who wants to be part of the performance can participate, but those who do not, can just be part of the audience.
Now it is time for Belle to arrive. She greets the guests and then the performance begins.
It does not last long, but everyone that is part of the performance gets to meet Belle at the end and have a picture taken with her.
Different Kind Of Attraction Is A Winner!
Enchanted Tales with Belle is unlike any other Disney World attraction and that is part of what makes it special. It is well done and judging from the smiles on faces of the guests, I was not the only one that enjoyed it.Aside from the cute story, the fact that this attraction is interactive and allow for guest participation on a large scale makes it a must do for families and Disney fans of all ages.
The last part that makes this attraction great is the attention to detail. After multiple visits so far, I am still catching little details throughout the inside and outside of the attraction. This is what will appeal the most to the diehard fans, that aspect of storytelling that you can only get from Disney.
