Star Wars Weekends 2010 - Great Limited Edition Event Pins

Star Wars Weekends 2010  is coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios starting May 21-23 for 4 consecutive weekends.  Since the event coincides with the 30th anniversary of "The Empire Strikes Back," debuting in theaters ( May 21, 1980), there is a lot of Star Wars Weekends merchandise created especially to mark this event.

The limited edition Disney Star Wars Weekends Pins are always hot items and this year will be no exception.  In fact Disney has gone over the top creating  8 limited edition pins that depict classic scenes from "The Empire Strikes Back."


Each pin has a limited edition size of 1,000 and they all will go on sale when Star Wars Weekends opens on May 21, 2010.  The pins can only be purchased at special merchandise locations within Disney's Hollywood Studios and only during the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday's that Star Wars Weekends is occuring.  You cannot buy them anywhere else or during the middle of the week.  Each sells for $13.95.

Limited Edition The Empire Strikes Back Scenes Pins
The first pin is a tribute to the bounty hunter Boba Fett and the scene where he is taking away Han Solo encased in carbonite.


The next classic scene is where Chewbacca carries a dismantled C3PO on his back with R2D2 accompanying him.

This pin depicts Lando Calrissian, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett.

This pin shows a battle scene on the ice planet of Hoth.


What Star Wars fan can forget the classic "I am your Father" scene with Darth Vader ad Luke Skywalker?


This pin shows an interrupted kiss between Han Solo and Princess Leia.


This pin shows Luke Skywalker's Jedi Training at the hands of Master Jedi Yoda.
