The British Invasion Brings The Music Of The Beatles To Epcot

If you are strolling through Epcot’s World Showcase and you happen to hear some great Beatles’ song playing, most likely it is the British Invasion that you are hearing.

The British Invasion is an Epcot staple playing in their own gazebo tucked away in the Great Britain Pavilion behind the gardens.

They not only do a great job covering the classic Beatles tunes, but they look the part as well, with great costumes and hair styles to match those of the Beatles from the 60’s.

They perform at Epcot 5 days a week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, & Saturday) with five, 20 minute sets per day (currently: 3:00, 4:30, 6:00, 7:00 & 8:00pm).

For each set that they perform, they do a costume change and a different selection of songs. So if you happen to catch them during multiple performances during an evening you will see all different songs performed.

The costumes are great, from the basic black suits, to the Nehru jackets, to the Sgt. Peppers Heart Club Band outfits. They definitely evoke the images of the Beatles as well as the sound.

They will on occasion also sing songs from other British Invasion era acts, and during a recent visit I saw a complete set made up of non-Beatles songs including Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl” that sounded great.

If you enjoy the Beatles then you will definitely have a great time watching The British Invasion. They are truly a top notch Beatles cover band, and should be on your list of Epcot attractions to see.
