Disney has created a classic series of Super Bowl Commercials that dates back to 1987 when Phil Simms of the New York Giants become the first to utter those magical words: "I'm Going To Disney World!"  Amongst all of the Super Bowl XLVIII commotion is the excitement over the commercials and the obvious question as to who will be the next star of the Disney World Commercial.

Phil Simms was the star of Super Bowl XXI and became the first in a long line of Super Bowl Champions and other champions to be recognized as "Going To Disney World!" to celebrate their victory.  This year's Super Bowl will mark the 27th time a representative of the winning team gets to utter "I'm Going To Disney World!"

Peyton Manning Passes On Disney World In 2007
After Super Bowl XLI in 2007, Peyton Manning was named the MVP for the victorious Indianapolis Colts, but chose not to be part of the classic Disney World commercial.  Will he make the same choice if given the chance again this year?

His younger brother Eli Manning has twice had the opportunity to represent the winning football team (NY Giants) at the Walt Disney World Resort and utter those magical words, "I'm going to Disney World!"

Who Will It Be For Super Bowl XLVIII?
There are so many aspects of the Super Bowl to enjoy that are separate from the actual game of football itself.  One for many Disney World fans will be who gets to be represented during the immediately after the game commercial.

So who will it be for Super Bowl XLVIII?  Will it be Russell Wilson or one of his Seattle Seahawks Teammates?  Or, will the Denver Broncos be victorious and give Peyton Manning a chance to redeem himself and be part of Disney World Commercial history?

Tom Brady Or Eli Manning - Who Will It Be?
The odds on favorite to be anointed to utter the phrase will be one of the star quarterbacks representing the Giants and the Patriots.  Remarkably enough both Eli Manning for the New York Giants and Tom Brady for the New England Patriots have each already starred in a post Super Bowl Disney World Commercial.

Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers becomes the star of the 44th installment of the iconic "I'm Going To Disney World!" series of commercials.

Aaron will be honored  on Monday Feb. 7th at the Walt Disney World Resort with a special Super Bowl Celebration Parade in the Magic Kingdom.  He will be joined by NFL Youth Football players in the festivities down Main Street, U.S.A.

Rodger's led the Packers to a 31-25 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV with 304 yards passing and 3 touchdowns.

He does appear to be a little confused about his final destination in this early version of the commercial, where he proclaims that he is "Going To Disneyland!"   Disney has announced that he is indeed going to Disney World.

Disney Commercial Series Goes Back To 1987
As mentioned earlier, Aaron Rodgers' appearance marks the 44th installment of this series.  It goes back to 1987 when Phil Simms of the New York Giants starred in the the very first "I'm Going To Disney World!" moment.

Let's take a look:

Drew Brees, the MVP of Super Bowl XVIV, is the latest in a long line to celebrate his victory by uttering the now famous phrase "I'm Going To Disney World!"

Drew's commercial for Disney World becomes the 42nd installment of this very successful series, dating back to the Super Bowl in 1987 when Phil Simms of the New York Giants became the first.  The series which started out being excusively for Super Bowl winners has expanded to include other champions including American Idol winners.

Drew earned this honor by leading the New Orleans Saints to their first ever Super Bowl  victory over the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 31-17. For his spectacular effort he earned the Super Bowl MVP award, completing a Super Bowl record-tying 32 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns.

The Monday after the Super Bowl (February 8th) at 11:55 am, Drew will take part in a celebration parade to honor the Super Bowl Champion in the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, FL.  During the parade Drew will be joined  by NFL Youth Football players, who will participate with the Saints star as the parade goes down Main Street, U.S.A.

Congratulations to the Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints!  Not only does Drew win the Super Bowl, but he earns the honor of being one of a select few to star in the "I'm Going To Disney World!" commercials.

The Disney World fans always looks forward to the now famous line, "I'm going to Disney World!" that is given by the stars of the winning Super Bowl Team, immediately after the game.

Today we will look at some of the Super Bowl commercials from years past.  It all started in 1987 when Phil Simms of the New York Giants starred in the the very first commercial in this famous series.

In 2008, Eli Manning, younger brother of Colt's Quarterback Peyton Manning had his chance to utter that famous line.



This one of my favorites in the series of "I'm Going To Disney World!" commercials as you see the Pittsburgh Steelers all practicing what they will say if they get the chance at the end of the game.



Finally, we look at the commercial from last year as Santonio Holmes and Ben Roethlisberger from Super Bowl XLIII declare where they are going.



Who Is Going To Disney World In 2010?
