JAMMitors - Bringing The Beat To Epcot
Disney World is known for World Class Entertainment and in Epcot's Future World you will find a trio of custodians called the JAMMitors winning over Disney World Guests with their inventive percussion sounds, choreographed movements, and humorous interjections.
JAMMitors
Many Disney World Guests may have never seen or even heard of the JAMMitors. They don't have an attraction that they are based at, and they are not characters from a Disney movie, although after watching them perform you may decided that they are characters.
The JAMMitors are a trio of talented musicians that are dressed as custodians and can be found in the Future World section of Epcot. They bring their assortment of pails and garbage cans along with them and set up an impromptu performance area in different parts of Future World. If you look in the daily show times guide for Epcot you can find out when they are supposed to be performing.
If you happen upon a performance of the JAMMitors, it is certainly worth your time to stop and take in their approximately 8 minute show. No matter where you were hurrying off to, just stop and watch these talented percussionists perform and you will be glad that you did.
Their instruments are an odd collection of items ranging from large trash cans & metal pails to toilet plungers & flyswatters. Their instruments change from time to time, which will also change their show. From the simple to the more extravagant collection of garbage cans, pails and lids of varying sizes come a unique sound that they turn into a captivating music performance.
It doesn't take long to see that these performers are talented musicians. The shows are fast paced and engaging with humorous dialogue inserted between the musical arrangements. This is the kind of show that you will want to see over and over again, because it does change frequently and is so entertaining.
Join the fraternity of Disney World Guests that have become JAMMitor Fans and make sure that seeing their performance is part of your Epcot MUST DO List.

Each evening Ft. Wilderness hosts Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long & Movie. This activity includes:
■A campfire where you can roast marshmallows.
■A fun sing-a-long session with old favorite songs that make you feel like you are at camp.
■A chance to see Chip 'n' Dale and have your photograph taken with them and have them sign your autograph books.
■After the sing-a-long a Disney Movie is shown on the big outdoor screen, like the drive-ins of the past.
The rustic setting of the Ft. Wilderness Resort & Campground makes a great setting for this event. You do not have to be staying at the campground to participate. Any Disney Guest can attend for free.
If you don't remember the stop, tell the bus driver that you are going to the Chip 'n' Dale Campfire and they will let you know where to go.
At 8:00 pm the Sing-A-Long starts. A guitar playing cowboy led the crowd in a number of old favorites and then he was joined by Chip 'n' Dale. During the program Chip 'n' Dale went through the audience allowing each family to meet with them, take pictures, and sign autographs.
After the sing-a-long ended things got prepared for the movie to start at 9:00 pm. During the night we attended Bolt was the movie for the night. A schedule was posted and there was a different Disney Movie playing each night of the week. Show times may change during different times of the year, so please check for exact times while you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. Also remember that this event takes place outdoors, so dress appropriately.
Disney World Is For Families
The setting and the entertainment wasn't fancy, but it was good wholesome family entertainment. The trip to visit Ft. Wilderness Resort and the show was definitely worth doing for an evening.
This is a good way to slow down and relax, doing something different. It is also great that this is an evening of FREE entertainment (unless you don't bring your own marshmallows and choose to purchase them there.)
Despite all of the luxury entertainment options that you can indulge in at Disney World, it is the simple, family pleasing attractions like Chip 'n Dale's Sing-A-Long that bring families back to Disney World again and again, year after year.
