Kid's Eye View of the Living Seas with Nemo and Friends

Madison is back again with another Kid's Eye View report. This week we travel to Epcot.

Take it away Madison....

Hi! This week I'm going to talk about the Living Seas with Nemo and Friends. The Living Seas is located in the Future World part of Epcot.

The aquarium within this attraction is one of the largest indoor aquariums in the world. It holds 5.7 million gallons of salt water. It also is home to over 65 different kinds of fish. Here are a few examples: sharks, angelfish, manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, sting rays, and more.

My favorite attraction is the manatee tank. If you get there in time they feed them cabbages. I think they have earned the name sea cow.

Now here's another thing to tell you about: Clam Mobiles!

This is a ride based upon the movie Finding Nemo. Only this version is a little less frantic. You'll soon be sucked into the theme. Your vehicle is a clam as you could guess. I think overall it is a ride for all ages.

Here is one last surprise bundled into the Living Seas: It is a restaurant called the Coral Reef!

It has wonderful food. You can eat while you watch the fish and sharks and more swim around. The fish's greatest wish is that you don't eat them!

Also, if you are lucky there will be divers swimming in the tank. Sometimes the divers will show off and do somersaults in the water.

I applaud how the restaurant sticks to mainly seafood on the menu, as they should, although my Dad really enjoys the steak that he gets there. Last year my brother got the king crab leg and loved it! The desserts are very good too.

One of my favorite things is the lobby. I love the jelly looking anemones. I think it is awesome how they change colors.

Over all the Living Seas rocks on entertainment and food.

See you next week!
