If you are like me, you have seen the new Disney World commercials on television over the Holidays, and you're getting the itch to travel.


You may have previously heard of the Buy 4 Get 3 Free promotion that they have going right now. Well, here at Only WDWorld, we decided to dig in a little deeper to see if this new promotion is really a great deal.

The promotion works like this:

Buy a Magic Your Way Package that includes Resort Room and Base Tickets for 4 Days and get an additional 3 days free, for a combined 7 day stay.

The reservation must be made before January 24th and it is good for most days and most Resorts between now and June 27th.


Bonus: Trips taken between 2/9 and 3/29 receive a $200 Disney Gift Card good for Dining, Souvenirs, and more at Walt Disney World in addition to the rate savings!

We decided to look at the difference between buying the room and tickets separately and buying the package with the Buy 4 get 3 Free promotion for 3 different resorts: Pop Century (Value), Coronado Springs (Moderate), and Animal Kingdom Lodge (Deluxe). We chose 5 different sets of dates during the promotion including the week after Easter which is supposed to be blacked out.

Here are the results for a "typical" family ( 2 Adults, 2 Children (11 & 9 yrs old):


































As you can see the savings are significant! This is a great deal and currently it looks like it is available for the busy Easter Week as well.


After doing the math, it appears that this really is a good deal. you can book the reservations directly with Disney World or through your travel agent.
